IET-K is becoming the home of award-winning champions.
We congratulate Dr Daniel Mutai, the former principal at RVIST in Nakuru City, for winning an award for his exemplary institutional and community leadership and inclusion.
Dr Mutai won a bronze medal during the fifth edition of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics 2022 TVET excellence for all awards in Donostia-San Sebastian in the Basque region of Spain.
Dr Mutai, a career educationist in technical education retired as RVIST principal in February this year.
His win has put IET-K and KETRB on the global map as he is a registered Professional Engineering Technologist and a member of IET-K and of good standing.
He is the first Kenyan ever to win the award, which attracted 700 entries from 50 countries and six continents.
Appreciating diversity and inclusivity is critical because we live in a global world.
IET-K has been working closely with RVIST in the engineering field to promote engineering technology profession.
We will continue to create an enabling environment for graduates from RVIST learning institutions to be registered as they join the job market.
